IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

POSSIBLE RISK OF EXPLOSION with gas connection fitting on gas cooking appliances.
Owners of affected gas cooking appliances are requested to comply with the following safety notice.

Freestanding Gas Cooker Freestanding Gas Cooker
Tabletop Gas Cooktop Tabletop Gas Cooktop

In the Netherlands the following named gas cooking appliances from the production period are affected: freestanding gas hobs and tabletop gas cooktops of Bosch and Siemens, produced between August 2006 and October 2011.

In certain circumstances, gas can escape in an uncontrolled manner and in extremely rare cases a risk of explosion can arise. The reason is potential damage to installed gas connectors.

To avoid any potential hazard, owners of an affected appliance should turn off the gas supply to the appliance immediately and not use it until the connection fitting has been replaced.
BSH calls on all customers of the listed gas cooking appliances to check whether their appliance is affected by this safety campaign. BSH is offering every owner of an affected appliance the free replacement of the gas connector by a certified service engineer at the owner’s home.
